Solar Energy for the Community

Founder · CSR-funded solar project

As part of a solar energy project for the community, I helped install 250 kW of solar panels at M.A. Niketan School, Janseva Hospital and Dr. Ernest Borges Memorial Home, funded through corporate (CSR) donations. The project is estimated to save these organisations ₹3.6 million every year.

Beyond reducing costs, the project has helped these organisations become more sustainable. It showed me how engineering and renewable energy can also create real social impact.

AeroRescue

Search-and-rescue drone project · 2024–2026

AeroRescue is a project to design and develop a low-cost, lightweight drone capable of locating and rescuing people in disaster zones, with real-time communication and GPS navigation.

How it works

  • Detects people using RGB and thermal cameras, and relays photos with their GPS coordinates to a local computer.
  • Designed to help save lives in disasters, especially fires, where it is difficult to send in rescuers.
  • A drop mechanism delivers gas-protection masks to people who are trapped.
  • The project was recognised by the Vapi Municipal Corporation.

Cleanergy

Leader · School clean-energy project

As the leader of Cleanergy, our school's clean-energy project, I led a team of around 50 students in raising environmental awareness and encouraging sustainable behaviour.

While educating others about renewable energy, I researched how it can be made more practical for everyday use in people's homes.

Jamnabai Adolescent Mentorship (JAM)

Peer Mentor · 2023–2025 and 2025–2027

I was chosen to be one of the mentors of the Jamnabai Adolescent Mentorship (JAM) programme from 2023 to 2025. This experience played a significant role in my personal and academic growth.

Having seen how valuable mentorship and peer learning are, I was selected again for the 2025–2027 batch. Being part of two consecutive batches has shown me how important it is to create such spaces for young people.
